This episode lists ten steps to get your room ready by tomorrow. That is right, you can get your classroom ready in one day if you follow these ten steps.
3 Types of QuestionsIn this episode, I mention my three types of questions. I use this as a way for students not to talk about of turn. If you like this strategy, be sure to print the posters for the three types of questions attached below. 1) Volunteer: This is exactly like it sounds. Ask students for a volunteer to answer the question. 2) Random: Every desk should have a number. You should have your Popsicle sticks ready with a number per desk. Whichever number you pick, the student sitting in that desk will answer the question. 3) Class: This is when the whole class will answer. Usually the types of questions you ask the whole class are questions that only have one answer.
